Everyone was supposed to stand silent for a minute or so during the opening Ceremony? How about a moment of silence for the victims of Israeli terrorism such as the 2008 Gaza incursion or the King David Hotel bombing. The perps of these events are treated like Heros in Israel.

Why now after 40 years?Organizers for the London 2012 Olympic Games have rejected calls for a moment of silence for the victims of the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre.
