WNN News Teams - Buddying Up
Here's a suggestion that several of us Sr. Mods have been talking over: buddying up in News Teams.
We've already tried it...and it works well, we think.
It makes posting a lot more interesting to be working with a buddy, or (better yet) a couple of buddies.
One of us starts a news thread with a story's link. And maybe a couple of lead paragraphs quoted.
Then one of us will add a photo or graphic image. And then quote more of the main story.
Then some commentary added in.
As Sr. Mods we all have the ability to use the Edit button on each other's posts, so it's also very effective to clean up a typo when we notice one in a buddy's post. That's quicker and more efficient than doing a whole message cycle back and forth just to remove a typo.
And here's what we end up with in a matter of minutes. A good news story that comes right out of the starting gate with all the ingredients that make for attractive and interesting White News Now.
We've got the essence of the story quoted. We've got interesting White perspective comments. We've got pictures and graphics. We've got the link to the original story.
We've kept the reader on White News Now and we've also got him or her fired up to join in the comments, or to add a graphic or quote of their own. We're leading by example with our WNN News Teams.
We've had enough anti-White news, it's time for White News Now

Is that just a suggestion for Mods?
VERY GOOD idea, Jamie... I've already starting using my access to the EDIT button on other's posts to correct coding and embedding errors, and in the case of posts with exceptional content, cleaning them up for balance and aesthetic appeal.
On a few other above-average posts, I have added a pic or, as the situation dictates, a map, to enhance the subject matter of the text of the post.
Still, I try to keep this to a minimum as I realize full well that "improvement" can be subjective and a matter of opinion to some.
I have also taken the liberty of copying and pasting outstanding posts on this forum to our sister forum, as that one IS beginning to get a little more traffic. So now, that site has become a repository of OUTSTANDING posts, almost exclusively, and a superb member has emerged there too; more will follow, I'm sure of it.
Again, VERY GOOD idea, Jamie! ... Under your leadership, this forum is destined to become THE beacon of the movement, I just know it.
I need to find a West Coast buddy so we match up our posting times a bit to keep a dialogue going. Anyone?
