Thread: Dr. Tom Sunic interviews Dr Kopff, the classics and what we can learn from them

Today I listened to VOR and the two interviews between Dr Tom Sunic and Dr Christian Kopff. An interesting two-part discussion and interview concerning the classical works and how the fundamental ideas of society can change over time.

I am not well versed in Greek literature or Greek history, but I have a respect for those that do, as I fully recognize its relevance to western civilization. Dr Sunic and Dr Kopff and I would both agree that today's public education system is sorely lacking in this area.

One minor subject brought up during the discussion is the similarity between capitalism and communism as they both focus on the economic situation of the state, and not the more fundamental ideas that define a people. They both attempt to tear down people into a seething mass of the bourgeois.
