Gay marriages are inferior to Heterosexual marriages because gay marriages cannot produce offspring.

It is my understanding that the marriage contract was originally designed as a loyalty contract for parental purposes "Before these witnesses." that a woman was agreeing that this man would be the progenitor of her posterity and she to bear his... He was agreeing to perform and take full responsibility for any children produced as well as give them legal inheritance and she was agreeing to carry his children only in her womb and also give him the right to her body to create his offspring inside her.

Thus the idea of fidelity and adultery was created to protect the man in his role as provider and protector as to who he would be obligated to provide and protect and give inheritance to.

I believe the idea that marriage is merely an emotional love-bond between any two persons or things was a gross distortion of what the marriage contract was designed to represent. I believe the distortion came when mankind discovered the science of procreation which enabled him to determine whether or not children would be produced as well as making the state play the role of protector and provider for his children (welfare.)

I agree that the meaning of the marriage contract should not be changed. It was designed for responsible procreation and not for the anus or use of objects for pleasure.

My comment to any gay people reading this....

This article says the court overrides the wishes of the people. Such a statement assumes that only Gays are people since legal reference to "The People" defines the general populace as a whole or a majority ruling.

Furthermore the Constitution and legal "Due Process" has nothing to do with Anal penetration or sexual toys as it does not prohibit the use thereof. Because there is no danger of procreating children in a Gay marriage there is no need for a marriage contract "Inheritance and Loyalty procreative contract".

Forcing others to recognize your choice of sexual perversion has nothing to do with marriage/offspring and is merely an attempt to force your behavior to be openly accepted by those who are giving all their time and finance to create and raise the next generation. An "In your face" attitude for those who honor and respect the sacred and weighty responsibility of procreating and raising the next generation of a society.

Procreating and Raising children should not be and is not equal to sexual perversions.

To claim the two are equal is a vicious and devastating injustice to children, genetic inheritance, and the value thereof.

The 'Will Of The People" means nothing, if every time that 'will' that threatens the Leftest agenda of undermining ever things that's normal, tradtional, and independent of government control is simply over ridden by Federal Judges!

When are people going to wake-up to the fact, that it's only the trivial things that you're allowed to make definite decisions about. The Courts will decide the rest. And even if by chance the courts should decide in favor of 'The Will Of The People'. Who's to say that our own government will actually enforce the laws. Or will they simply be ignored, like we often see with Illegal Immigration.

Eventually, what with the demographic changes we're now under going, and the 'Brainwashing' our Public Education is giving our young people, even the value of the 'Will Of The People' will one day be in question.

Thanks Tom. I had full confidence that this "Character" would be dealt with appropriately. Personal attacks and insults may be the bread and butter for other sites but not here at WNN, thank goodness.

NC passed Amendment One (banning gay marriage) a few weeks ago so these activist judges could not re-define marriage to suit their own agenda. While the vote was pending, the propaganda the pro-gay crowd put out was stunning in it's distortions and out right lies about what was in the new law. When we overwhelmingly passed Amendment One, you should have read some of the comments on the articles about it. I tell ya'll, that pro-gay crowd are some of the most vicious, threatening, scary people on the net. This from the same people that preach tolerance, but ONLY if you agree with them and accept their preverted lifestyle. They claim to want equal rights, but what they really want is preferential treatment on all levels. They just need to accept the fact that most people do not agree with their lifestyle, and never will.
