    Andy Capp

Comic strip created by Englishman Reg Smythe in 1957 chronicles the life of Andy Capp, a wise-cracking unemployed man who mooches of his employed wife and spends his money on beer and gambling. Andy's wife would nag him, but he always seemed to get the last word in no matter what.

Here are some WW2 Prototypes (some cartoons) that were designed too late in the war to be used on the battlefield. Some of the designs went into production.

The "P.1000 Ratte Landkreuzer", 1000 tons, 2x naval cannons. Six times larger than a normal tank.

"Himmelsturmer", designed in 1944 to transport german troops over minefields and obstacles. The first "jetpack".

    German jet fighter.

Guided anti-aircraft missile system to defend Germany from bombers.

The german wind cannon. Capable of crushing wood plates at 200 meters. Designed as an anti-aircraft weapon.

The german "Schall Kanone", capable of producing lethal shockwaves up to 200 meters, incapacitating those further away.

German A-12: designed to lift about 2,5 tons into space.
