Thread: SPLC says it's "not really set up to cover the extreme left"

The Southern Poverty Law Center has over $150 million in portfolio assets, but says it doesn’t have the resources needed to track legitimate hateful and violent groups.
Rather than doing that, apparently, they will continue to monitor and track everything I say on the radio. I was added to their “hate group” list years ago for making statements like the one below, which was documented in the epic report on my work that appeared in their misnamed “Intelligence Report” magazine.

Hilarious! Last I checked, they did have the Black Panthers and the Nation of Islam listed as hate groups. From their site:

Although the Southern Poverty Law Center recognizes that much black racism in America is, at least in part, a response to centuries of white racism, it believes racism must be exposed in all its forms. White groups espousing beliefs similar to black separatists would be considered clearly racist. The same criterion should be applied to all groups regardless of their color.

They then specifically single out the Louis Farrakhan:

Those beliefs include the view that Yacub, a renegade black "scientist," created whites 6,600 years ago as an inherently evil and ungodly people — "blue-eyed devils." Farrakhan has described Catholics and Jews, who he said practice a "gutter religion," as preying on blacks. He regrets the "tone" of a former principal subordinate who called for slaughtering white South Africans, but agreed with the message.

Sooo....I guess the SPLC considers them "right wing" because they're "supremacist" ... even though they are socialist.
