Arrests were made late Monday, August 3, 2009, in the murder of Charles Kenneth Schoeneman, who was found dead in his apartment on April 14, 2009, from multiple sharp force injuries.
The arrest was a result of a combined collaborative effort to determine the circumstances surrounding the crime by San Diego Sheriff's Department, California Attorney General's Bureau of Investigation and Intelligence, U.S. Border Patrol and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.

ey Jin Dunn and Robert Navarro, Jr., were both taken into custody in Central California, Dunn in Fresno and Navarro in Kingsburg. Both are from Kingsburg. Kingsburg is located on Freeway 99, half way between Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Both Dunn and Navarro have been transported to San Diego County to be booked and charged with Schoeneman's murder. Financial gain may be the motive for the crime.
