History and Discussion of the European Monarchies

I'm interested in all monarchies from each European "house."

I've been reading up on the Tudor Dynasty, but I'm very interested in the Plantagenets, who actually would still have a claim to the throne. I remember watching a television program on same and they found that there is an English person living in Australia who is of that line!

I'm using many Wiki articles due to not doing a lot of research for same, but I plan on doing some more research on the royal dynasties, especially of Europe.

I would recommend watching the Series "the Tudors" which was made from 2007-2010. Its really good. It was filmed in Ireland, and they played great attention to clothing, Houses, etc. It might be available from a Library. I think one of the American cable companies showed it. I know more British History than European, but all the European Countries have (had) interesting Monarchies and dynasties.

I have all four seasons of "The Tudors" on DVD, but so much of it was, shall we say, over the top, that I'd like a more direct understanding of the monarchies. That's not to say I didn't love the series! Very entertaining.
