Arrow State Sovereignty Movement Sweeping Nation

The State Sovereignty Movement
Spreading Like A Prairie Fire Across America

Maybe the most promising route of resistance to tyranny now opening up to patriots is the State Sovereignty movement. The legal basis for a State Sovereignty resistance is impregnable. It is awesome. It is the 10th Amendment of our Bill of Rights, which reserves all rights and powers not specifically delegated to the General (federal) Government to the States respectively, or the people. Across America, an extraordinarily encouraging movement has broken out in our State Legislatures. Read the language of the dozens of State resolutions that have already been introduced, and some passed. These resolutions state clearly that the States ARE SOVEREIGN. They state clearly that usurpations of power by the General Government against the sovereignty of the States constitute a breach of the Constitution which dissolve the compact, removing from the States ANY obligation to OBEY a usurpatious General Government. This is an amazing breakout of the cause of freedom for our people. Study these resolutions, then telephone and contact your State Representative and Senator to help move the sovereignty resolution forward in your State. CAL

In response to increasing federal encroachment, a growing number of states have passed and proposed resolutions to assert the Tenth Amendment and the Bill of Rights of the Constitution.

This map shows a growing number of states that have passed and propose resolutions to assert the Tenth Amendment and the Bill of Rights of the Constitution.
The Tenth Amendment is part of the Bill of Rights and was ratified on December 15, 1791. It states the Constitution’s principle of Federalism by providing that powers not granted to the national government nor prohibited to the states are reserved to the states and to the people. It is based on an earlier provision of the Articles of Confederation: “Each state retains its sovereignty, freedom, and independence, and every power, jurisdiction, and right, which is not by this Confederation expressly delegated to the United States, in Congress assembled.”

On this resource page, you will find links to the various bills and proposed bills by the states, articles covering this important topic, and related videos. Washington, New Hampshire, Arizona, Montana, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, California, and Georgia have all introduced bills and resolutions declaring sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment. Colorado, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Alaska, Kansas, Alabama, Nevada, Maine, and Illinois are considering such measures.

Default Majority of States Already Part of Sovereignty Movement

The article below, appearing on a blog by a writer who describes himself as a "left libertarian" is interesting as a sign that the State Sovereignty movement is gathering support from a wide spectrum of people, which is good. Also very revealing, and encouraging, are the reader comments appearing below the article. I copied them here for that reason. Reading these comments gives a good indication that the State Sovereignty revolt is snowballing.
Quote:
Majority Of U.S. States Join Sovereignty Movement, Assert 10th Amendment Rights

February 23, 2009 A majority of states have bills passed or have proposed bill which affirm 10th Amendment rights. Some affirm additional rights and/or give specific reasons. New Hampshire has written the most aggressive legislation.
With the economy collapsing, it is a very real and immediate danger that the federal government can turn into a completely criminal and fascist government. They’ll put foreign troops on their streets. They’ll grab people to put in forced labor or concentration camps if they are unemployed or protesting. They’ll conduct experiments on these prisoners.
This is especially true since a private corporation owned by a small group of people, who own over half the world’s wealth, control our currency and monetary policy through the Federal Reserve. They also have such power over the world as a whole through the World Bank, IMF, most other national central banks, numerous well-funded non-government organizations, and numerous corrupted government officials.
The Federal Reserve owners want the economy to collapse so they can grab real assets and power. Their whole monetary system is a giant ponzi scheme designed to fail because money is based on the issuance of debt, and the interest owed is not put into the system except through more debt with more interest.
The stock market has dropped 50% in value since this started last year. This is a great depression. The unemployment will rise. The spending of the two bailouts plus the trillions the Federal Reserve has printed will cause inflation to rise sharply. This same situation happened to the Soviet Union. This is not just an economic recession.
This is not just about mortgages since the value of mortgages is much less than the spending packages. The financial releveraging of the mortgages in the form of financial derivatives has magnified the problem. Giving loans to high risk individuals and giving ARM loans did stimulate the problem. The manipulation of oil prices through dollar devaluation and speculation also helped stimulate problem.
This current economic problem is largely due to the fact that we’ve been existing on borrowed time, running huge trade deficits and growing debt exponentially. Our assets now exceed our debt. We now owe more interest on our debts than we can possibly earn. The debt ponzi scheme our currency is based has busted and has started the process of collapse. We can’t spend our way out of this because we’re out of assets and out of credit.
This group of men who own most of the world’s currencies and wealth want complete centralized control of printing money. They also want a powerful undemocratic regional and world government which can usurp the sovereignty of national governments. They want more European Unions. They want a stronger United Nations. They want to push their own agendas, which include population reduction through eugenics. The threat is real and well documented in policy documents and in the main stream press.
The Federal Reserve is doing to the United States exactly what the IMF and World Bank do to third world nations. Unless we wake up and get our head out of our fluoride and Prozac ass, we’re going to find ourselves as a third world nation, if not in the middle of World War III, the Fourth Reich, civil war, and revolution.
The only way we can stop the U.S. government and these banks is through the states. If the states are united, the people are united. If the people are united, the U.S. government ceases to function, and the states are able to reform a functioning and lawful U.S. government instead of the completely corrupt, rogue, destructive, and lawless federal government we have now.
Armed rebellion is not going to work. It will just result in a lot of dead people because the U.S. government has excessive firepower. Violent rebellion is exactly what the men in control of our money want.
I encourage everyone to write, email, or call their state legislatures to encourage the passage of such bills. You may also wish to contact your federal reserve senators and representative letting them know you’ve lost faith in their ability to represent the people of the United States.
We need stronger legislation with stronger teeth to make a stand peacefully and legally. We must act to prevent what is happening in Arcadia, Iowa, with the Iowa National Guard training for door-to-door gun confiscation.
We can’t allow the U.S. government to continue to usurp state sovereignty. If we allow the U.S. government to do this, we’re going to have a lot of dead people in this nation because a lot of people aren’t going to give up their guns and aren’t going to tolerate the U.S. military, corporate militias, and foreign troops invading their communities and homes.
The states may be forced to stand down. However, we started the process of thinking locally to solve our problems and to make it through these tough times. We want local, responsible, and focused local and state law enforcement to maintain order. We don’t want foreign troops and the U.S. military to do this for us.
We should consider training our local and state law enforcement to stop such door-to-door terrorism by agents of the U.S. government and the Federal Reserve. We should consider making it a high crime in the state for a federal official to offer a bribe and a high crime to receive such a bribe.
Whether you agree with everything I put forth or not, a majority of the people do believe the U.S. government is corrupt, out-of-control, and don’t represent the interests of the people. If you don’t agree, you haven’t done the research nor have you paid close enough attention to the news. We’re on the verge of major crisis and change.
Here are a list of states who have passed or proposed bills to affirm 10th Amendment rights. We need to continue to encourage the states to take more specific action because of the very real dangers. I’ll try to keep this list updated with links.

  1. Peaceful revolution is impossible.
Here, let me put it into perspective: The vast majority of Americans called, wrote, protested, faxed, and emailed their congressional members… And yet, the bailouts passed… overwhelmingly.
We voted out one crop of criminals in 2006, and we got… yep, ANOTHER crop of criminals, equally uncaring about the public. In 2008, we voted in the “candidate for change,” and watched him stack his cabinet with all the same old players, and engage in the same old politics! End the Iraq war? Sure… maybe… someday… and we’ll be sure to open a new one in Iran and expand the one in Afghanistan. Close Gitmo? Sure… someday… but before then we’ll make sure to set up other camps for the newly “released” people to go to. Transparency? Sure… but only as long as you ask questions we don’t mind answering; otherwise, we’ll tell you something like “we need to look forward, not backward.”
Go ahead. Call. Email. Write. Visit. Vote. Won’t make a difference in this godforsaken country. It won’t make a difference until those in power know that if they obey a foreign power instead of their own people, they can and will be punished. Tar and Feathers are cheap; the nation is priceless.

  2. “Armed rebellion is not going to work. It will just result in a lot of dead people because the U.S. government has excessive firepower. Violent rebellion is exactly what the men in control of our money want.”
Those men in control certainly want violence to implement their schemes of eugenic population reduction. However you’ll notice that all the ‘excess firepower’ of the U.S. has utterly failed to pacify the third world nations of Iraq and Afghanistan. What makes you so sure rebellion wouldn’t work here?
The problem as I see it is that government enforcers have had a free hand to kill, steal and incarcerate for decades without any kind of a proper check on their power. SOMEONE needs to remind these little tin-horns that they can bleed just as red as the rest of us do…

  4. Bravo! This is the only way we can take our country back non-violently and legally. God bless our forefathers who had the foresight to include this provision in the Constitution. It must be aggressively pursued by each and every state. These are the United States, emphasis on United and emphasis on States. These United States agreed to form a federal government under their guidelines with certain explicit powers and duties. These United States have the same power to abolish the federal government and create a new one to replace it if they are not doing their job properly. Our government was tasked to control our currency. Woodrow Wilson illegally gave that responsibility away when he signed the Federal Reserve Act and gave control of our currency to a private party. That single move was the beginning of the end of the USA.
Our government has taken OUR money and created a military that is set to attack us, to raid our homes and put us in camps. Our military did not protect American soil on 9/11 and should be abolished for not doing so. This cannot stand.
If this doesn’t work then we’ll have to get out the torches, pitchforks, tar and feathers and physically fight for the return of our country. It is our duty as American citizens to preserve this country and the Constitution. We were given this obligation by our forefathers who fought with life and limb to attain it. We must be willing to lay our own lives down to preserve it. We cannot let them or our children down at this moment of crisis.

  6. “They want to push their own agendas, which include population reduction through eugenics.”
IF that is what they are up to I am in favor of it. The problem might be that they might just create a mixed race dumbed down serf class of people with a very small elite class at the top.
That would of course, not work.

  7. I’d love to add a comment, but it looks like the real thinkers have beat me to it, so I’ll just say “bravo!”–to the comments, and a little less so to the article itself.
One thing we must remember, there are a lot more of “us” than there are of “them,” and once people are out in the streets, no TV, can’t afford Prozac, and (maybe) drinking pure water for a change, there’s a veritable army out there–and they’re gonna be PISSED!
We’ve tried the legal ways, and if push comes to shove, it’s going to be interesting to see what the people are capable of.

  8. Article. V.
The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall
propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures
of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments,
which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this
Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several
States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode
of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which
may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any
    Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article;
AND that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage
    in the Senate.
The 17th Amendment certainly deprived some States of their sufferage in the Senate.
Gee, I wonder what that means for the Amendments? I don`t know, but it sure looks
serious, doesn`t it? Perhaps we would be wise to repeal the 17th Amendment! According
to the 10th Amendment , the States are distinct from the People. This is talking
    about the State Governments.
Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina and Virginia did not ratify that amendment and were deprived of their equal suffrage in the Senate, thereby profoundly effecting the integrity of every Amendment to the Constitution!
Also, the unseating of the Senators of these states for their refusal to ratify Amendment 14 constituted exactly that prohibition, AND that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage
in the Senate. It is already done. The 17th Amendment is garbage.
I also would like to show you a few other things in the Constitution that I am sure
you will find to be very interesting.
Article 1. Section 9.3} No bill of attainder or ex post facto law shall
    be passed.
I hate to have to break this to you, but the 14th Amendment fails these
basic tests of Constitutionality. That amendment is a bill of attainder
and it was passed ex post facto. I will not even mention the coercion
and illegal expulsion from Congress of our Representatives and Senators
for our failure to ratify this Amendment. The history of this amendment
is a three ring circus of lies and murder.
Article 3. Section 3.2} The Congress shall have power to declare the
punishment of treason, but no attainder of treason shall work
corruption of blood, or forfeiture except during the life of the person
    attained.
This is really great. Remember that Article 1.Section 9.3} declared
that Congress may not pass Bills of Attainder or ex post facto laws. Now
we see an exception or a mistake.
Attainders of treason are permitted with some very serious restrictions
on them to protect the decendants of the traitors. That is us, by the
way. The language of the Section seems to me to imply that ex post
facto is okay here because otherwise the attainder could not work
forfiture. No person would vote beforehand to give up his property for
his upcoming treason unless he is insane, therefore we can safely say
that the 13th Amendment is okay. The entire problem is the 14th Amendment.
The value of the slaves concerns us here. That value is the forfiture
that is Constitutionally bound to be returned to the Southern people as
we shall not suffer Corruption of Blood or lose our property except
during the lifetimes of the Confederate Politicians and Soldiers. They
are now all dead. Also, the theory known as the Incorporation Doctrine
is defunct. The application of the Incorporation Doctrine is Corruption
of Blood and is Unconstitutional. We, the Southerners living now, are
not and have never been Traitors to the United States. We are thereby
under the jurisdiction of the original Constitution or else Corruption
of Blood is being allowed to function as the Supreme Law of the Land
rather than the Constitution of the United States. This cannot continue.

Read on P. 11 the “Declaration of the Committee of Safety’” and get together with concerned neighbors ASAP as your survival may very well depend on being united and working together during the coming crises .

  12. When we fully realise that our governments are just businesses, run by a board of directors for profit, we might begin to understand the processes better!
We are employees and do as our boss tells us, maybe its time to change business models and let this one got bust! Violence is not a way forward, its just a way to keep us here! If we all follow then “eye for an eye” we will all be blind, now what does that solve?
The idea that most people objected to the bailouts is not real, most did object but they did not take action, it was a tiny percentage that had the balls to make a point. More people need to take there money away from this business and find another business to trust our money with ….
Take peaceful action and results will come but we ALL need to take peaceful action and now!

  13. “And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand? After all, you knew ahead of time that those blue caps were out at night for no good purpose. And you could be sure ahead of time that you’d be cracking the skull of a cutthroat. Or what about the Black Maria sitting out there on the street with one lonely chauffeur—what if it had been driven off or its tires spiked? The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst; the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If…if…We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more, we had no awareness of the real situation. We spent ourselves in one unrestrained outburst in 1917, and then we hurried to submit. We submitted with pleasure! We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.” - The Gulag Archipelago, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

It is our duty to set these people streight and to remind them that freedom isnt free at all, never has been and never will be but what will be interesting to me is that without a doubt, we will witness some of our military fighting each other and that will be sad but necsessairy. The second rise of the patriots is at hand people!

Who is your leader? Do you have one?
I hear the Alaska Independence Party has one of their leaders working as governor of that state. When she’s not busy delivering homemade cookies to the impoverished natives living in the Yukon Delta, perhaps you can ask her to take over your organization.

  18. kraut boy, the entire US govt is an operating conspiracy. A collective of senators and representatives receives bribes (read lobbying money and no-bid contract kickbacks) at the expense of the rest of the US population. Corruption is key to make any good conspiracy work, and this one has been fully functional since the 1960s. Eisenhower called it when he said watch out for the military-industrial complex.

  19. This is the most radical insane nonsense I have seen lately. What are you people doing becoming so lost and blinded in hatred that your heads stopped working. The things listed in this article are just fright tactics to try to gather good Americans to turn on each other. You will fail as America IS made up of good people and these extreme ideas in this article are as insane as all the other dung out there on a thousand other radical ideas. Give America some credit for the love of god, these times are hard but America is tougher. I think those backing these ideas are the ones who are weak and lazy. How dare you suggest that a bad bit of road is enough to force a civil unrest and attack on our own. What you all need is to learn to throw you back into the problems and help us work out of them and stop your fear agenda and hate programs. I guess you are not the people who make this and made this country great. Stop crying and work hard to help return this great land to a better place…in the mean time, give it a rest please, your ideas are a insult to those who love and honor this great land built on HARD WORK STRENGTH THRU THE HARD TIMES AND A UNITED LOVE FOR THIS COUNTRY….stop crying. If your so concerned spend your time finding a better group of people to run this country and then work as hard as the democrats to elect them in four years into office, but this stuff your pushing is simply insulting ridiculous and as anti American as anything I have ever read. God Bless America!
by Diane Cappozola February 25, 2009 at 3:44 pm
  20. To Diane Cappozola:
    Frankly, madam… you are insane.
If every dollar that you make is LOANED into existence… AT INTEREST…
How hard do you have to work to pay off the debt?
The mathematic answer is obvious to anyone who finished gradeschool: Infinity. The debt can never be paid off because every dollar is loaned into existence and so more money is owed than can ever be made… no matter how hard you work.
“Work harder” is not a valid way to solve the problem… but those who don’t have to work at all, and as has been recently proven don’t have to pay their full taxes either… Well, they don’t see a need to fix the problem.
Want to find a better kind of people to run the country? I agree! But first we have to get rid of the overlords, for they will not release their hold willingly. Need proof? Consider the “Candidate for Change.”

  21. Another blind patriot - my country right or wrong! Diane - you are completely clueless as to how the world & especially US financial system has been usurped. A bad bit of road ??, we’ve been in an economic contraction caused by our own Federal Reserve system and debt based fiat currency since 2006. Now, this will very quickly move to a great depression, complete with civil unrest, bread lines and inflation.

Also, in his latest Nickel Rant, patriot commentator, attorney, and possibly candidate for Idaho Governor, Edgar J. Steele has highly commended the 10th Amendment State Sovereignty movement as an EXCELLENT tactic for our cause.
