While this gentleman makes a great point about Americans being to obsessed with sports (not mentioning hero worship of Black athletes), I would like to say, there is nothing wrong with watching a ball game. I know I will be watching the Super Bowl. The reason we have a sports forum is because sports, both spectator and recreational are fine hobbies to have. It's when you obsess over them to much or let them run your lives or start worshipping non-White athletes, to the point you don't mind that they marry a White person, that it becomes a problem.

I agree with you. I'd rather watch baseball though.

I've been surrounded by sports fans my whole life but as I've gotten older, I have little patience for how MAD they sometimes get at games. I'd like to see that anger generated in a more positive, IMPORTANT direction......know what I mean? There is a LOT to get mad at that really matters. So, now when they get mad, I call them stupid and give them the "I'll tell you what you should be mad at" speech and it just goes BAD from there...LOL
