A cicada on Jamie Kelso's nose in East Tennessee

There are millions upon millions of these cicadas in the woods right now, making an enormously-loud sound day and night up in the treetops. The non-flying cicadas that have been buried in the earth for up to 17 years emerged ten days ago. They live anywhere from one to eight feet under the ground, drinking root juices. They are called an "imago" when they emerge. The imago shell body splits open and the colorful flying cicada emerges. The one on my nose is drying out his (her?) wings and isn't flying away because the wings are not quite fully dry. How loud can cicadas get? The "timbal' membranes on their sides can generate up to 120 decibels for a very short distance!

Cicadas have a deadly poison bite, and instinctively strike for the eyes of their victims. .....just kidding....., they're benign to White folks and neither bite nor sting. They do tickle though.

What we're seeing is that your website, WhiteNewsNow, was needed and is filling that need. Thanks.

The key to your success is, in my opinion, that your posts as White patriots are friendly. Our White family, friends, and neighbors find what you write on WhiteNewsNow to be attractive, interesting, informative, professional, impressive. No fighting. No non-productive gossip. And LOTS of All-American images, photos, avatars, screen names, stories and style.

What can you do to make this keep happening? Just do what you're doing now...and do a little bit more of it. If I could suggest two things that are most creative, they would be: put up a simple friendly post or two often, and tell a friend about WhiteNewsNow.

Tom and I visited WhiteNewsNow Sr. Mod April Gaede and her family in Kalispell, Montana for eight days just a few months ago. Tom and I managed to find airplane tickets to Kalispell for about $29 each one way! Is Montana and the pioneer little Europe that April has going in Kalispell as beautiful as this photo looks? You bet.
