In the United States, no group of athletes get the press coverage and celebrity status like professional football and basketball players. Regretably, most athletes that dominate these genres are Black (NFL is nearly 2/3 Black, the NBA is nearly 80% Black).

This has a debilitating effect on Whites, especially youngsters, seeing Black athletes constantly get the lion's share of the fame and glory and also get to date beautiful White women and make millions of dollars. However, the money does NOT last in most instances. I always knew that a lot of celebrities blew ridiculous sums of money, but had no idea of the extent of it.

Almost 80 percent of National Football League players are flirting with bankruptcy two years after they retire, according to Sports Illustrated. NBA players aren’t faring much better. 60 percent of former National Basketball Association players end up broke within five years of retirement.
This story unfortunately does not break the losses down by race, but I'd be willing to bet the White retirees are doing much better in proportion to their Black counterparts.
