The "Globe and Mail" run a series of pro Immigration Articles. Most readers post negative comments.
I consider the "G&M" to be a Liberal site, but the most popular comments are all anti Mass immigration. I've even seen the mantra posted there.
Why Canada needs a flood of immigrants - The Globe and Mail
The article and comments section bleed irony. Firstly, because G&M articles usually typify Canada's inveterate inferiority complex with the USA, yet this article strangely doesn't seek to contrast Canada with the USA. And secondly, because G&M readers typically side with left-leaning policies, but they strangely don't here; as seen by their comments.

John Stackhouse: Globalization and Mail Editor in Chief. He's a Queen's Business School graduate. I'm sure He's into the "free trade open borders" idealogy. I wonder what He thinks of Ontario's declining Manufacturing base, or how unliveable parts of Toronto are? I would imagine He spends His Weekends in Cottage Country, or perhaps Yachting on Georgian Bay- far removed from the troubles of the World anyways. Maybe, one of His Daughters will bring home a Jamaican one Day.

Big business and the government might reward the Globe with full page ads for that story.
It reads like an informercial for their points of view.

The government is under huge pressure to increase immigration levels, according to Citizenship and Immigration Minister Jason Kenney. It’s facing demands for more newcomers from business leaders and nearly every provincial premier. But before Mr. Kenney will comply, he says he wants to see more immigrants working and earning at rates close to those of Canadian-born people. That also happens to be the focus of a series of reforms he launched this spring, designed to improve economic outcomes for immigrants.

It's the "business leaders" who are pushing for it. They don't care about ordinary Canadians. Increased immigration lowers wages more. The Banks can open new accounts. Realtors will benefit. Actually, every popular comment on the article was anti immigrant, and many were real patriotic too.

The communist anti-racist crowd think open borders was their idea and celebrate the creation of a blended humanity,but ONLY in White countries.
Manipulating the ultra left into supporting a big business agenda was really a coup d'état. I do not think any of them are smart enough to ever catch on to what they are doing, or what the long term effects will be.

People are complaining en masse, which is good. What is not good is that the vast majority of them will limit their complaining to anonymous internet posts (and "anonymous" is a bit of an overstatement, if the Canadian authorities want to know what you post, they will know) and personal conversations, never daring to complain in public due to the various consequence it entails.
Of course, having a silent majority on our side is always a good thing. I am however curious about how this is reflected in Quebec... the socialists there are overwhelming in number.

The media can't keep a lid on this much longer! The truth is that most people don't want multiculturalism, but nobody says anything because institutions like the Globe and Mail have everybody convinced that Canadians overwhelmingly desire and even love mass immigration.
But the people are getting bolder, as they realize others are on their side, and the many shaky lies upon which our official political philosophy rests are being replaced with sound truths.

I enjoyed reading the comments more than the article. Whenever I see an article about any anti-white topics I skim it and go read the reactions. The media machine is failing and people are waking up and demanding changes to the multiculturalism joke the jews have been telling. Not just in Canada but across the globe. It fills me with hope. Another thing... I live aboot 18 min from Steinbach, eh. It's a good strong German town with some white Russians. Most stores hire workers that speak high and low German. I was unaware that the flippin immigrants had a foot hold (no pun intended) on the nail salon business; nor was I aware of a Prague grocery store. But I am very aware that when I go shopping in the mall - there are very few non-whites. Most of the time I'm blessed with not seeing a single one. I did see a negro in Canadian Tire the other day. He sitting in the isle crying. I don't blame him. Steinbach is very far from Africa. So I can vouch for Steinbach being a white town. It's clean. Boasts a low crime rate. It's German. The G&M should stop twisting the fact to suit the jew agenda. White Pride. Thanks for reading.

Another Article today argueing that Canada should "have a population of 100 Million" written by "Doug Saunders". He looks like a "WASP" to Me. They like getting Guys like Doug Saunders writting these Articles. All the popular comments were thumbs down on Doug Saunders views.

Doug Saunders is the chief of the Globe and Mail's London-based European Bureau, writes the weekly Reckoning column in the Focus section as well as daily reports and weekly features on European issues and international social and political trends. He has been a writer with the Globe since 1995.
He was born in Hamilton, Ontario, and educated in Toronto. After early success in magazines and journalistic research, he first worked for the Globe and Mail as a general news reporter, then as an editorial writer and feature writer. In 1996, he joined the weekend section where he created a specialized writing position on media, culture, advertising and popular phenomena. In 1999, he became the paper's Los Angeles bureau reporter, covering both social and political stories in the American west and the broader developments in wider U.S. society.
He has won the National Newspaper Award, the Canadian counterpart to the Pulitzer Prize, on four occasions, including an unprecedented three consecutive awards for critical writing in 1998-2000, and an award honouring Reckoning as Canada’s best column in 2006. He has also won the Stanley McDowell Prize for writing and has been shortlisted for a National Magazine Award.
In 2002, he returned to Toronto, where he took a position as a roving international-affairs writer. He launched a column in the Focus section aimed at examining developments in the world of intellectual and political ideas, keyed to current news developments.
