Thread: Brothels now legal in Ontario,Canada

I find that the mainstream media support this, just like they support legalizing Marijuana. I got that impression from the Yahoo Headline.
They are always dropping the "Prohibition" word these Days.

Next maybe they'll strike down that darn ban on bank heists. Those police standoffs are placing armed robbery workers in additional danger.

I thought it was the politicians selling themselves on the street for 15$?

This is an important move for political freedom in Canada, until now it would have been technically illegal to be an NPD or Liberal politician in Ontario.

Prostitution has been legal in New Zealand for sometime. It has stemmed none of the illegal and dangerous activities synonymous with this soul-destroying business. The majority of brothels still maintain close ties with organized criminal elements, specifically those dealing in the distribution of illicit narcotics, and brothels themselves serve as great laundering outlets for dirty cash. The non-regulated and illegal street walking trade is also still flourishing, with the most heinous examples taking place in several Auckland locations where underage girls and boys sell themselves to vile predators.

The other side-effect is that allowing this 'business' is a major enticement for foreigners, specifically Asians, to get in on the action. The classified sections of newspapers all across New Zealand and Australia are chocked full of sexual adverts placed by various Asians who are in the country illegally or on working visas. I would consider this to me something that should be thoroughly stamped out. No foreigner should be engaging in this immoral business and it would be very easy for the immigration and police departments to round up, penalize and deport those that do. But that is just pesky old common sense getting in the way of we-are-the-world-liberalism again.

Many strippers come into Canada under a "performing artists and entertainers" visa (or something similar),which is supposed to be quite easy to get.
They often do not even know that this is what they will be forced into when they get here either. They are also often forced into prostitution as well.

Huge numbers of women are trafficked into Canada every year to work in massage parlours and escort services as well.

Where are the feminists on these issues? When will they demand closure of our borders to protect women's rights?

Basically, it looks like they do not care. I think they hate men more than they actually care about the fate of women.

Yeah, this retarded mentality that somehow everything bad will go away if something is legalized is getting old... the fact of the matter is, those who run brothels are vile scum, and they won't turn into model citizens just because those brothels become legal. Strip clubs have been legal here for decades yet those who run them are still violent, dangerous criminal filth.

Legalizing prostitution will only make it spread. Say what you will about the fact that it's dangerous for the women, at least that fact kept many of the more intelligent ones away... now they'll think it's all good and okay in terms of "safety", as long as you don't mind selling your body on the street. They're in for a rude awakening.

I have a guess as to why this happens. Here's a picture of Bill Clinton at a Democrat Party fundraiser shaking hands with Ng Lap Seng, a notorious Macau crime boss who runs prostitution rings.



The Washington Post confirms here that he is extremely wealth and donated $15,000 to the Democrats. In fact an investigation found that he delivered possibly $1.5 million to Clinton. He comes from China and maintains ties to the Chinese elite.

We don't have any nice photos like this of Canadian politicians but given the fact that prostitution has just been turned into a legitimate tax-exempt industry, I think we can pretty much assume an identical situation.
