Why would a nearly bankrupt province want to attract more immigrants when the truth has come out that immigrants consume more tax dollars than they produce?

TORONTO - Ontario immigration numbers have fallen dramatically with current and previous governments failing to attract newcomers while blaming Ottawa for not doing enough, opposition party critics charged Friday.
With Quebec targeting immigrants for jobs and prairie economies booming, only 44% of Canada’s immigrants land here annually — compared to 60% in past years, the NDP’s Michael Prue said.
“Ontario has missed the boat for years,” said the Beaches-East York MPP and 1993-2001 East York mayor, who previously worked two decades for Immigration Canada.

Because politicians are paid to distort the truth and spread false propaganda. It baffles me that this politician does not know how to deal with his "immigrant obsession". I dare say this behavior is dangerous to the white population.

On the other hand, knows very well that Scarborough is loaded with immigrants, so if he wants to get re-elected....
