    That says it all.

I have a problem believing that it was an "accident." Lawsuits a-plenty on this one . . .
Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones. I am not afraid. - M. Aurelius

This was only mentioned locally and i had to search too. If the doctor was white it would be the main headline with something like "Dr Death" or similar.

Dr Kapur admitted that her actions during the operation were below the standard to be expected of a reasonably competent consultant paediatric surgeon.
    But denied misconduct
Mistake, accident whatever she wants to call it. Her actions and performance was below standard. It's an admittance of guilt.

In the medical field when life hangs in the balance a surgery performed "below the standard" is absolute misconduct. Any lawyer should be able to use her statement as an admission of guilt. Having seen the internal human anatomy any semi-trained person could tell bladder from intestine. Whiteoak is right. This is sub par off shore med school training.
