Well... you do have to be careful with this power.
It's like when little kids have a big All-Powerful Parent. Deep down, it makes them FEEL SAFE (which is one of the reasons they have to believe in in this great All Powerfulness).
Somebody THAT powerful could SAVE THEM, if the person so chose. So all they have to do is a) guilt the person, so they'll be nice b) have a good relationship with them.
But suddenly, when they think, "maybe they AREN'T that powerful," it's scary. Now, there's no All-Powerful person. No one to hurt them---but no one to save them, either!
And they, too, have negative conditioning and potential backlash (and in the right circumstances that can result in genocide). They feel angry, betrayed at the lie, thinking, "They weren't Powerful! We let them get away with letting us feel weak! We were stupid to let them do that! We need retribution!"
It's like when Jews flip from the mythologized victim role and suddenly say, "We run the world! The wn's are right!"
For one's own health, it's sometimes good to deflate such energies slowly.
Of course, I'm probably only saying all this because I have a few rabbits in my top hat.
And those Rabbits will do God Knows What.
