This isn't a very developed bloggy, just some random thoughts about tonight's "Freedom Watch". First, there were some questions aimed at the alleged terror plot. Is it a real plot? Could it even be that the plot was being run by others, not even by the Justice Dept, to fuel animosity between Iran and the US?

Second, there was a racial topic during which it was asked, What can Cain focus on, what can Cain say, that White republicans cannot say, that Obama can't say, etc. I think it is unhealthy to openly speculate about what people 'can' and 'cannot' say, because our ethic should be unapologetic that we can say what comes to mind. This kind of talk pushes us in the wrong direction. But basically I think that people can say whatever they can get away with. And they can get away with more, the more they say.

I agree. Anything about Iran and it is hard to know the truth.

It is so obvious why the Republicans are promoting and PR'ing Cain so much. They think only a Negro can win against a Negro. Crazy thinking, but they really are promoting this bad stuff. Yeah, they say "race doesn't matter" but they are deliberately putting him out there.

An open uncensored dialog is wonderful is it not? Sadly it is not nearly as common as it is wonderful.
