The great White Pilates

I just figured out how to incorporate an Avatar into my account. Who better than my eponymous source of fitness insight? I thought I'd make a blog post encouraging others to do Pilates workouts, but first, let me just make a minor suggestion: Perhaps the blogroll on the homepage should list not the most recent blog posts, but the most recently updated blogs. That way it won't look like I'm hogging the space. Maybe I should just start threads anyway.
Okay, now for Pilates.
Pilates said 'no' to fighting wars for the Kaiser, and went to England rather than train the Kaiser's soldiers for what would become World War One. When war broke out, he was interned, because the English were leery of Germans. While interned, he invented or expanded on his fitness ideas. Later he came to America and continued working on his ideas.
Pilates is about strength and grace. Anything lacking in my own case is my own fault, not his! Pilates is a wonderful example of how White people have great balance. There's no eastern mysticism in Pilates, instead working to build flexibility and power. Done well, the exercise routine becomes almost a choreographed dance.
The modified beginner routine couldn't hurt anyone, unless perhaps someone is extremely portly. (Such a person should consult a nutritionist promptly! White people should strive to be beautiful.)
Have aches? Have old injuries? These may be caused by moving improperly, which in turn may be caused by not having a proper core of strength. This is exactly what Pilates counters. As you build that core, you move more gracefully, and with less chance of injury. Work from the core, lengthen the spine, move smoothly. Perfection. You can rebuild yourself.
Physical development promotes mental development and happiness. Racially aware people have to be careful not to fall into doldrums. No doom and gloom! There will always be a remnant, there will always be a tomorrow, there will always be a record. So we must always strive to be our best.
I have no idea whether or not Pilates himself was racially aware, but if he had relatives raped by immigrants or if his economy were bottomed out by incompetent people, he would probably catch on eventually. White people do, and will.
