Without sounding too hypocritical, because I know that I've shot my mouth off on more than a few occasions and said things that I now regret, things that wasn't exactly productive, or polite. But, I have made an earnest attempt to, sort of re-invent myself to some degree, and rather than finding the guidelines of WNN stifling, or in anyway oppressive in being able to express myself, they have been just that, a 'guideline', a means of not allowing myself to stray into that unnecessary rhetoric that's often been detrimental to our cause, as well as myself personally, and in being able to better connect with people.

I suppose the best analogy of what I'm trying to say, would be the older movies that I like to watch. Those made before the Director gave half the movie time to very explicit love scenes for instance, or having blood spewing up out of someone's body like a busted water hose, instead of developing the characters, the plot, and the message of the movie. Often the movie censors held the writers, producers, and directors to staying within the context of what they wished to say, rather than the audience being diverted, shocked, or finding themselves being just voyeurs, and ending up thinking at the end of what might have cost 300 million dollars to make, that, It really wasn't all that!"

And this is the way it is here at WNN. The guidelines have us 'THINK' before we express ourselves in order for us to better give emphasis to 'what really matters', without finding ourselves just aimlessly ranting about something that might not matter all that much anyway in the greater configuration of things. And yet, guidelines that leaves plenty of room for some good and thought provoking commentary, humor, while still giving us an outlet for our justifiable frustrations.

These guidelines has us communicate in a way that those reading our postings can often believe that their listening to their next door neighbor, co-worker, or family member, or someone who knows what they're talking about, rather than a dysfunctional individual that can give our cause a bad name, and who often ends up only serving our enemies. We at WNN and the American Third Position ARE your neighbors, your co-workers, and your family. There are no surprises here. You get what you see! You know what to expect, and with it, we receive what our cause desperately needs in return, 'Trust' and 'Solidarity'!
