The first vehicles and engines are due to come off the line in 2014.

The complex highlights the automaker's plan "to aggressively grow the Ford brand in India," said Ford India president Michael Boneham.

The new manufacturing facilities are targeted at helping Ford reach its goal of increasing worldwide sales by nearly 50 percent by the middle of the decade to eight million vehicles a year.

"We are aggressively expanding in markets around the world that have the most growth potential," said Joe Hinrichs, president of Ford Asia Pacific and Africa.

Such blatant, irresponsible transfer of wealth...

And who is going to buy 240000 vehicles a year with the recession going global?

    This is ridiculous.

I'm a firm supporter of Capitalism. The use of cheap labor ,is not new , as we moved from slavery to freedmen. The battle was fought by the unionized workers only to have the banking practice of usury undermine the fair distribution of profit that would ensure continued success of both capitalism and worker. Leading to our present decaying ( chicken in every pot) socialist decline. We will see much more of this outsourcing as the system implodes from debt in the trillions, costing huge sums of capital interest only to burden a declining social fabric.

There is only one big reason that they are destroying the USA from within, to make the people so sick that they will vote in mass on the next president(ial candidate) who will come up with 'solutions' (big lie)
Tyrants are again after absolute power and control, the only way they will have this absolute power is to have a majority of the people on their side.
2012 could be the year that they succeed in this step of the process towards their world empire (world domination) The American people are on the way to make the same mistake as the Roman and German people made one day.

Thank goodness. The Indian sub-continent needs these jobs. We are going to make the third world incredibly richer so our elites will have more profits for themselves. You see this gives us the benefit of watching the CEO's build extra rooms for their mansions out of money bundles alone. This gives the average American a certain pride that his elites are richer than their elites and psychologically that's good. Now of course we will all be eventually starving but just think of the pride we will have as we watch the polo matches on tv.
