Well, that's the thing. They are using these pretty women to sell their tools. They know it and the "models" know it. And by giving more light to it, this woman is giving it more attention, so she essentially is defeating the purpose.

See the average, practical Aussie bloke enjoys the scenary of blonde, young women.

Imagine if the men felt obliged and forced to buy tools of a gay man at the Power tool show? Would there be an uproar of testosterone?

Having a gay couple in front of you on the train tongue-kissing is to be tolerated, although a hetersexual couple doing the same thing would be considered rude.

A couple of weeks ago, there was a "Slutwalk" Protest March - Women want to sexualise themselves without being raped! Was there a protest from Struthers then? So women can be free to sexualise themselves. Women can be free to dress erotically and even act erotically and if the only way a man can fulfill his fantasies and buy that power tool, so what! If he is stupid enough to buy the power tool based on the showing of flesh, then the advertiser obviously will earn another sessions pay. The young women are over 18 years old and probably enjoys the attention, as well as, the extra pay for this and that!

Now see,,, I never by power tools that aren't either sponsors of my favorite motor sports, and they must have "Hot Babes" demonstrating the proper handling of the tools.... No Babe , no sale.
I hate it when they dress some male model up as a mechanic and show him holding the tools, I see that all day long at the shop, guys holding their tools that is.
Personally I think it should be prerequisite to have scantily clad Bikini models as sales for tools, give us guys a break from looking at other guys beer bellies for a minute, I also think that Strap On, er, ah, Snap On, Mac and Matco tool trucks that come on the lot should be driven by good looking women and the trucks should be equipped with Stripper poles....

The sort of female personality that does the more practical, stereotypical male job is not the butch. On the contrar, the female personality is more likely to be the little sister.

The little sister having their own Tradie security create connection to the opposite sex on a no nonsense communication basis; they either have a relationship outside of work and have kids etc., or they generally have sex with male friends called a "****-friend"

These sorts of female tradies are earthed, quick and practical thinkers; if they do not possess these attributes they do not last the job! There are a lot of Lesos, that are just doing the sexual Act and choosing these sorts of careers because they want to appear popular, get special consideration and go with trend. If the Lesos do not have the skills, they don't last! The skills as a Tradie is what gets you through as a woman, has nothing to do with who you ****.

Yes, being in a workplace that is mostly male, looking at motors, floors, ceilings, plumbing etc.would be boring. Being with men farting, half-mooning and carrying on followed by the sight a white, female species makes you feel like your alive and free and like buying that power tool, or as many as possible to have that moment . When I have days off from work, I like to be in the natural environment - seeing flowers makes me feel alive and free.

Also, no matter what station a white person is in life, they have something to offer, something they are clear on and/or cleansed in their daily routine and survival mode. That energy is unique with every white person and beautiful when combined in a group, family and nation. I cannot speak for other races because that would be dominating. I do not bodily know other races experiences.

Now back to the thread, For the most part, all the higher end power tools are the same, DeWalt, Makita and so on, so marketers need a gimmick to get us men to chose one product over another. In motor sports, they us the races, and hot scantily clad babes on the paddocks....

Example Australia's Cassey Stoner was Moto GP's champion a couple of years ago, he rode for Duccati, Duccati sold hundreds of their infernal machines, yes they are nice bikes and kinda sexy but they are Maintenance whores and very costly to maintain.
Today Valentino Rossie is once again Moto GP champ he rides Yamaha R1, now that is an awesome bike, but it also has some issues. I prefer Suzuki or Honda in that order.
Tool companies don't have the luxury to win races, they are only tool after all. So they sponsor the machines, the problem is Makita sponsors Suzuki, Honda, BMW.....
So they need to use Hot Babes to get our attention.

Sexuality is overrated in society. When you introduce the female plume, the pecking order starts - firmest bum, biggest tits, prettiest face, makeup, hairdos, high heels. There are a lot of Australian women who are plain sick of that garbage, most of us have to work long hours, have little disposable income and care for our kids. I cannot remember when I last cared to be jazzy for any man - I would much rather dress neat and for the weather. I guess there is a lot of freedom in saying no to being a sex object - I do not think that is feminism - to dress in flat shoes so when I was younger lift and be alert to the kids; wear moderate dresses and pants so I can bend over and move without flashing; wear makeup to look presentable, like a male shaving everyday; pull back hair and tie so does not fall into machinery and wisp around.

There are degrees in this equation, and when awoman has landed a mate and has children, she no longer needs to "Put it out there" her responsibilities now are to the children. So yes dressing sensible as opposed to "Flashy" is not a problem as she is no longer in the market.
