TONY ABBOTT offered to double Australia's humanitarian refugee intake if Andrew Wilkie helped him form government after this year's federal election, the independent MP has revealed.
The revelation was only one of several issues raised by Mr Wilkie - a refugee advocate and former intelligence analyst - in an interview with the Herald yesterday, his first since the horrific shipwreck at Christmas Island on Wednesday.

The only difference between Liberal and Labour is, will you have your multiculturalism shaken or stirred?
It's like choosing between two types of dog droppings. The smart people spent the election night throwing dog crap over their local member's fence.

the system is wrong and the people become wrong when they enter the system, at least abbott seems to have some semblance of an idea and protecting Australian culture.

Abbott only cares about power and will do anything he needs to do to gain it. He would sell our future down the drain if he thought that would help him. Abbott is just another whining politician who will say anything to get elected.

I think maybe the Australian Government will understand, after the Northern part of Australia flooding - "Charity begins at Home first."
