Seriously, I don't know.

The moment of attempted levity, came when simulcast moderator Harry Knowles of Ain't It Cool News noted that co-screenwriter/director Adrian Grunberg was wearing a Star of David necklace. After Grunberg noted that he is Jewish, "Gringo" co-screenwriter/producer Stacy Perskie -- who is from Mexico -- noted that he, too, is Jewish.
"Funny, you don't look" Jewish, Gibson cracked.

The actor also noted that he might participate in a sequel to Robert Rodriguez's "Machete," adding that he had spoken to Rodriguez about the possibility prior to the Q&A.
"It sounds fun," Gibson said.

Ever since Mel made, 'The Passion of Christ' he's had a bullseye on his back by you know who, and he's been acting really strange. If I could speak to him I would tell him to be careful who mixes his drinks and prepares his food...Sound like a conspiracy theory? Uh-Huh, and it wouldn't be the first time it happened.

I thought he was supposedly making a movie about some war between Poland and Sweden ..... then there was something about a Viking movie in the Norse language (like the Mayan in Apocalypto and Aramaic in the Passion) ...... ????????

He didn't make this movie, Conspiracy Theory, on a lark ..... after the anti-White Lethal Weapon stinkers, all the Gibson films (The Patriot, Braveheart, Edge of Darkness, Passion, Apocalypto, etc.) carried a a great many anti-government messages at many different levels. One of the messages of Conspiracy Theory was that there really are evil governmental conspiracies and the protagonist conspiracy theorist (playing himself) wasn't the kook everybody thought he was but spot on.

Lethal Weapon 2 was by far the worst. But that's my point. Why is Gibson wanting to star in the virulently anti-White, anti-American "Machete" series? I seriously don't know.

Well, I certainly don't want to speak for him ..... but the Lethal Weapon series may have provided him w/ the cash to do what he really wanted .....what did he have to do w/ Machete?

Nothing to my knowledge. But he has interest in being in Machete 2.
