An African-American mob hissy fits over a lesser conviction of a white man charged with shooting a black man, smashed windows and set fires in Oakland. Their rage was ignited by a white cop's conviction of a lesser charge in the fatal shooting of black man, Oscar Grant. The rioting and looting started hours after former police officer Johannes Mehersle was convicted of involuntary manslaughter instead of second degree murder.
