If blacks and Loony Leftists believe that "we are all the same" as they claim to, then why would they care if that seat was "black"?
Black Caucus Wants To Keep Senate Seat Black In Ohio
COLUMBUS, Ohio—A trio of Democrats in the race to replace 15th District State Senator Ray Miller of Columbus are confronting the issue of race after the president of the Ohio Legislative Black Caucus said the group is doing everything it can to make sure the officeholder is black.

Miller, a Democrat, is black. Candidates Charleta Tavares, a Columbus City Councilmember, and attorney Oyango Snell are black. The third Democrat running, State Representative Dan Stewart of Columbus, is white.
State Representative Sandra Williams of Cleveland leads the OLBC. Earlier this month, she told The Columbus Dispatch, “we are doing all we can, pulling out all stops, to ensure that seat remains black.“
Williams did not respond to multiple calls Tuesday.
Following the historic election of President Barack Obama, many voters have looked forward to the lessening influence of identity politics.
In the 15th District, voters said they hope race is not a driving force in the May primary. “It should be the best candidate. Race has nothing to do with anything in reference to that,“ said Asha Mahlungulu-Umoja.
