Thread: Iran's Ahmadinejad: Sept. 11 attacks a 'big lie'

Add President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as ANOTHER world leader calling the USA out on the deception of 9-11.

See, this is where I wholly disagree with conspiracy theories regarding 911. A non-conspiracy attributed attack occurred courtesy of Al Qaeda operatives on the Twin Towers in 1993, again a bomb, and the stupidity of the bombers led to their arrest. So that was Twin Towers attack no 1. As long as you don't subscribe to the "Osama is a CIA invention (which for all I know he could be, but let's for the sake of this post assume he isn't) theory", then he stated with a journalist back in (1996 I believe, might be wrong about that date) in a filmed interview, his full intentions regarding the US. It was treated with the unbelieving indifference that allowed these attacks to occur in the first place.
With this warning, and let's face it, you'd have to be wilfully in denial of the stark staring obvious to claim that there isn't and wasn't anti-US feeling out there (which goes to overwhelming grounds for motive on their part)...not forgetting the Somali attacks on US warships during Clinton's presidency...and other indicators that the Middle East wasn't happy about America's pro-Israel policy etc...
It was as INEVITABLE as the sun rising in the morning that an attack on the US would occur, but apparently only the US was blithely ignorant of this reality.
I believe that Bush and his neocon Zionist warmongers merely capitalised on the attacks.
And why do I not believe the conspiracy: because that government wasn't able to keep a lid on anything. It was inept from the ground up. To ask any intelligent person to believe that this bunch of bumbling idiots could pull-off the greatest conspiracy in history, without so much as one, of what would have had to be thousands of bit players, spilling the beans is in the realm of kooky.
They didn’t manage to hide any truth about their actions. Pretty much everything came out in a very short time span. Hell, NIXON did a better job of lying than Bush, Cheney, Blair, etc...
Nah, they were too incompetent for such a thing, but opportunistic enough to know how to exploit it.
We know Ahmadinejad has every reason to goad the west, but if you had him in the room long enough to ask, you’d be a sucker not to lay the question on him: “So, 911 and the subsequent invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan have been BAD for Iran and fundamentalist Islam, have they?”
If he’s an honest man, the least he could do is grin back at you.

SydneyStan, you are mistaken. The FBI had an informant who knew all about the WTC 1993 plot and may have supplied the bomb. There is lots of evidence of this because, Emad Ali Salem, the informant, did not trust the FBI and made many tapes of his meetings with his FBI Handlers.

HERE is a report in the October 28, 1993 New York Times. Some exerpts follow:

"The account, which is given in the transcript of hundreds of hours of tape recordings Mr. Salem secretly made of his talks with law-enforcement agents, portrays the authorities as in a far better position than previously known to foil the Feb. 26 bombing of New York City's tallest towers. The explosion left six people dead, more than 1,000 injured and damages in excess of half a billion dollars. Four men are now on trial in Manhattan Federal Court in that attack".

"The informer was to have helped the plotters build the bomb and supply the fake powder, but the plan was called off by an F.B.I. supervisor who had other ideas about how the informer, Emad A. Salem, should be used, the informer said."

Research this issue and you will find all kinds of dirt.

Nope. You'd have to be mad to BELIEVE there was a conspiracy. This Iranian hero, who'd just as soon see any one of us dead as any Jude, has about as much of a relationship with "da truth" as Dubbya. They're two sides of a nutty coin that should be flung down the rusty drainpipe of history collectively.

Why can't 'sane' people accept that America has 'pissed off' much of the world, and that those in the nations of Islam have long held grudges (hey, remember the Iranian hostage crisis, or was that a neocon hoax too?), and have been adamant about bringing chaos to the US? Seems simple and 'sane' from where this proud WN stands. But you know, I find it disheartening that a proud white person, has to be selected for ideological inclusion not based upon his (or her) dedication to serving the white race, but whether or not he or she believes in bollocky Fox Mulder/Dana Scully conspiracies, and is prepared to accept the doctrine that 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend' and embrace an enemy that loathes us just as much as the other enemy.

I am not in conflict with other WNs, I just find this whole 'conspiracy theory' has too many holes in it, and for the greatest part, because of the innate incompetence of those involved.

Yes, I am anti-Zion, but NO, I don't like Iran...and don't trust Islam any more than I would a Jew, or North Korea. I trust, and care only about WHITES.

The FBI have been hopeless on many occasions. They've failed on information, failed on this or that, but I'm sorry, the basis of this is not enough to convince me of a plot. And really, 1993 to 2001..? I don't think so...In fact, I just can't buy it. I'll say it again: America was targeted, when they got hit, it was a GIFT to the neocons, whose hasty plans for capatalising on it have led the US to ruin...The conspiracy is what happened post-911, not before.

There was, and still is a great deal of hostility toward America in the Australian community, most people wouldn't believe America was worth a grand conspiracy for one thing.
We're a little country that only dreams little dreams, we only create little worlds for ourselves.
In our world a handful of Islamic guys can just build a bomb in a shack in Indonesia and blow up a disco, no matter how big the next attack is, to us it's never going to be any more complicated than that.
So it's easy for us to believe that a handful of guys could just hijack planes and crash them into buildings, it's not hard for a small dreamer to accept.
What did you know about America before 911?
They were Big loud people with Big cars, Big smiles, Big Ideas and Big dreams.
They still are.

Dear Sydney,

I want to apologize to you on this open board for not showing some restraint with my remarks. I have taken down the post and want to say this. How those buildings fell are a mystery to many of us in what is called the 9/11 movement. What I should have said is this, " The US Government story that has been put out to the public is Scientifically impossible." In other words, it could not have happened the way the Government says it happened.

Many of us in the 9/11 movement are so passionate about our belief, we fail to acknowledge that some of our brethren have not had to the time to see all that we have seen. This was a mistake on my part and I want to thank you for bringing this to my attention. We are all on the same side.

It's all good. I must say, I am not new to the theory, and I've absorbed some extremely convincing material about 911. One of them is a video called 'Demolition'. But (and again I'm only speaking for myself here) I have to consider how just about every dirty trick Bush's neocons tried to cover up came uncovered. I realise there are great oddities, such as the air force patrol being cancelled over the city that day...etc. But it could also be viewed through another prism: that 911 has given radical Islam what it wanted most, to drag the US into an unwinnable war, bog them down, grind down its economy, and embolden their own cause. An attack such as 911 would clearly set a reactionary mob like the neocons on a path to attack anything Muslim, and that's pretty much what they did. Anyway...all minds should be open to all possibilities. I don't know anything for sure. I just go by my own brand of reasoning. I'm certainly not going to ridicule your beliefs either.
