Thread: US Army's Top Enlisted Man KIA in Afghanistan; Afghan Commander Turns on US Special Forces

In Afganistan, the news is always grim for the Pentagon and its unconstitutional, bankrupting, immoral and futile ZOGist forever war .... each day setting a new record for America's longest war .... but today the news is especially grim. Not only did the Army's top Sgt. Major get wasted, but in an even more alarming incident, a trusted Afgan commander turned the tables on his USMC Special Forces dinner guests and opened up w/ a machine gun. What wonderment there must be at Russian officers' clubs over the Americans' sheer stupidity in waging this nutty war, taking into account virtually nothing learned from the failed Soviet invasion and occupation ........ like a weird "Groundhog Day" ever-repeating series of mistakes ....... Actually the Soviet counter-insurgency strategy made a bit more sense: they realized they lost much sooner than the Americanos.
