These little basterds make me sick! Why the bus driver didn't stop the bus and return to school is beyond all logical reason. The driver should be fired post haste, and a couple of these children should be charged with criminal threats.

It makes you wonder what sort of parents these kids have? I really found this video disturbing, and it's really indicative of just how low many of our nations youth have sunk as a result of Public Education, the poor quality of our teachers, poor parenting, and a popular culture that's just plain decadent!
This kid sounds like a future Jeffery Dalmer so they better keep an eye on him!

What happened to this elderly grandmother was horrible and nobody deserves to be treated that way. But Klein is the school bus monitor. She should have been more assertive and told those bullies off. And frankly, she should have been performing her job.
Again, what the children did was bad, perhaps even evil. But the adult in this situation should have controlled these unruly minors. Bullies pick on their victims because they know that they can get away with it. Perhaps this sweet grandmother was giving the vibe of victim as opposed to school bus monitor.
In the video, it is clear that instead of facing these unruly kids and attempting to quell the situation, Klein was ignoring the kids even looking away, unresponsive. This reaction only fueled the cruel taunting. Ignoring and cowering away is not the proper response of a responsible school bus monitor, it is more of bullied child.
When Anderson Cooper informed Klein that Southwest Airlines was flying her and nine other people to Disneyland for free, Klein was thankful and grateful but continued on to say, "But, I feel like I haven't done anything."
I could never agree more.

Can someone explain to me what a bus "monitor" is supposed to do in the first place?
If they don't have the means to call the cops ... then what's the point? It seems that at least one of her assailants was a White boy.

Children in a healthy society respects their elders.
Note that third world children were the prominent in the harassment of this older woman. Many of us here will be filling Karen Klein's role as a ghetto culture punching bag in a couple of decades.

I think the children may have gotten if from their liberal parents. In particular...their mothers.
When I am in a public setting oft times I hear mothers speaking about others in front of their children or to their children and I cringe.
I remember a thread on another stormy forum where the female members were talking about Misogyny. These female forum members were complaining about the way young men grow up to speak hostile to and about women, treat women, and conduct themselves hostile toward women.
After reading their numerous posts I made this comment:
"On this forum the men folk have been kind to me. However, The women folk have unjustly referred to me as "Whore", "Btch", "Idiot", "Suburban Snob", "Moron" and "Slut" sometimes just for setting a higher moral standard."
"If young boys grow up to call women "Bitch", "Whore" and "Slut" well.... let's just consider who it was that taught those young boys that all those women were "Bitches", "Morons", and "Whores". It was good ol mom that taught them the lady next door was a "Bitch". Any woman who would go around calling her fellow woman condescending names and then complain when their sons grow up to do the same is being hypocritical.
Those words were never used by my parents in my home when I grew up. They were unacceptable in common conversation. Those were only used by my Father in severe situations such as prostitution or race mixing.
Somehow I managed to get through life without being disrespectful to the elderly. And I managed to post on the another stormy forum without calling any of the other females the vicious names they called me. I apologize in advance if saying so makes me a "Suburban Snob". They weren't too happy at all when I pointed it out.
