Thread: Cong. Paul Blasts "Neocons" and Asks "When Will America Attack Syria?"

The coming attack on Syria is just one more step toward certain bankruptcy, and probably World War III. Will Russia stand aside and let us kick them out of their only warm water naval base? The President's handlers either don't know or don't care.

The US has over 500 bases in over 100 countries and is running a huge deficit in both its budget and in foreign trade. Bankruptcy is a question of when, not if. China has no foreign bases, unless you count the small presence in the contested Spratly Islands, and is building up foreign exchange reserves by the hundreds of bilions.

The US, with its huge and ruinous foreign military operations can not control either Iraq or Afghanistan. At the same time, China controls both ends of the Panama Canal and the Port of Long Beach, California.

I'm sure China has a few troops at Long Breach. They will need someone to accept the inevitable surrender.
