Thread: Chicago more dangerous than Afghanistan?

If you’re planning a visit to Chicago soon, don’t forget your sunscreen. The Windy City gets ungodly hot in the summer time, with temperatures peaking above 100 degrees Fahrenheit in early August. And don’t forget the bulletproof vests, either.

Along with deep dish pizza pies and some of the best museums America has to offer, Chicago, Illinois can now advertise that it offers something else special for tourists: a good chance of being shot at. So far in 2012, more people have been killed in the metropolitan Midwest city than the number of US servicemen in Afghanistan, where American troops are trying to tie up the loose ends in a war that’s approaching the eleventh year mark.

Notice how the cultural Marxists always talk about "Gun violence." They never talk about "Non-White violence," even though a Mexican or a Ugandan whose head is severed with a machete is just as dead as someone shot in Chicago.

What plagues all our darkened cities is never "Negro violence," or "Mestizo violence." It is always "Gun violence."

When I read these articles about all the violent guns in Chicago and other cities, I am very thankful that all my guns are of the non-violent type. Some of them have been with me for several decades, and I am happy to say that not one of them has ever had a fit of violent behavior.

My guns are easy to get along with. In fact, they are not really very demanding at all. I caress them occasionally with a soft oily cloth, and talk soothingly to them, and that's all it takes to suppress any latent tendency toward violence.

I will admit that one of them, a rather mean-looking little snub-nosed .357 ariweight Smith, once threatened a young negro in a parking lot, but, since our visitor was attempting to force the passenger-side door open, I think the reaction of Mr. Smith was justified. Other than that one isolated incident, the behavior of the entire arsenal has been exemplary.

Being around peaceful guns is a lot like being around peaceful people: Once you get used to their civilized behavior, it is hard to believe that there are others who are of a downright murderous bent.

I have sympathy for the Bruthas and Sistas in Obama's old organizing grounds, but they have to realize that if you hang around violent guns, you are going to have to pay the price.
