As Americans we've have a tendency to take it for granted that we'll always be on top! But as this article indicates, China is moving forward with its own space program that will no doubt one day be in direct competition with our own.

We need to replace the 'do nothing' congress we have in Washington, as well as that idiot many would call 'President', and get our nations act together.

Meanwhile: Thousands of fans and millions more watching the NBA finals and Tiger Wood's latest failure were oblivious to the media's downplaying of the Chinese space launch, let alone the latest murders in their own back yards, the economy sinking fast and the Obama's further waste of taxpayer's money on their latest romp.

I read the local Sunday puppy training paper yesterday and only found a small paragraph about it tucked away in the very back page of the main section. This whole thing is disgusting on many levels and shows how far we have fallen in the past twenty or thirty years.

I was just a young kid when Sputnik was placed in orbit and a little older when Yuri Guganon(sp?) was the first man in space and that had President Eisenhower and then President Kennedy mandating universities shifting priorities to math and hard sciences. Now they are nothing more than Communist brainwashing asylums.
