Default Alabama Adopts First Official State Ban on UN Agenda 21

Alabama became the first state to adopt a tough law protecting private property and due process by prohibiting any government involvement with or participation in a controversial United Nations scheme known as Agenda 21. Activists from across the political spectrum celebrated the measure’s approval as a significant victory against the UN “sustainability” plot, expressing hope that similar sovereignty-preserving measures would be adopted in other states as the nationwide battle heats up.
The Alabama Senate Bill (SB) 477 legislation, known unofficially among some supporters as the “Due Process for Property Rights” Act, was approved unanimously by both the state House and Senate. After hesitating for a few days, late last month Republican Governor Robert Bentley finally signed into law the wildly popular measure — but only after heavy pressure from activists forced his hand.
Virtually no mention of the law was made in the establishment press. But analysts said the measure was likely the strongest protection against the UN scheme passed anywhere in America so far. The law, aimed at protecting private property rights, specifically prevents all state agencies and local governments in Alabama from participating in the global scheme in any way.

"The State of Alabama and all political subdivisions may not adopt or implement policy recommendations that deliberately or inadvertently infringe or restrict private property rights without due process, as may be required by policy recommendations originating in, or traceable to 'Agenda 21,' " the law states, adding a brief background on the UN plan hatched at the 1992 “Earth Summit” in Rio de Janeiro.

The people of Alabama acting through their elected representatives — not UN bureaucrats — have the authority to develop the state’s environmental and development policies, the official synopsis of the law explains. Therefore, infringements on the property rights of citizens linked to “any other international law or ancillary plan of action that contravenes the Constitution of the United States or the Constitution of the State of Alabama” are also prohibited under the new measure.

Of course, as the law points out, the UN has enlisted a broad array of non-governmental and inter-governmental organizations in its effort to foist Agenda 21 on the world — most notably a Germany-based group called ICLEI, formerly known as the International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives. But the new measure takes direct aim at that problem, too: “the State of Alabama and all political subdivisions may not enter into any agreement, expend any sum of money, or receive funds contracting services, or giving financial aid to or from” any such entities, as defined in Agenda 21 documents.

“This bill, that would bar the state from taking over private property without due process, is intended to shelter Alabamians from the United Nations Agenda 21, a sustainable development initiative that some conservatives see as a precursor for the creation of a world government,” explained Alabama GOP Executive Director T.J. Maloney when announcing that it had been signed into law. The Republican National Committee (RNC) adopted a resolution earlier this year blasting the global scheme and urging policy makers to oppose it, and state parties have followed suit.

Public support for the Alabama law was overwhelming and bipartisan as citizens who had been terrorized by Agenda 21-linked schemes targeting their private property spoke out. But according to analysts and state Republican Party officials cited in press reports, Gov. Bentley was originally hesitant to sign the bill — almost certainly due to concerns over the potential loss of some federal funding.

I hope this catches on all over the U.S. and Europe. I'm sure the non-white UN members would embrace it however. If so, watch them demand that the White nations cower to the agenda.

This sounds a bit cranky, kooky.

The threat to our people in places like Alabama are the growing numbers of Black underclass criminals who have made places like Birmingham Alabama no go zones for our people.

Yeah, sure some idiot Leftists in places like Germany come up with all kinds of ridiculous UN statesments about collective resource management - why even bother noticing them, these types have always been around and they will always be around unless some totalitarian nation drives them out.

Agenda 21would not be the number one issue for me if I was an Alabaman, but it is very important. And it's mobilized Alabamans in asserting their authority over themselves.

Agenda 21 is incredibly important. We must all oppose it if we want to save whats left of our sovereignty and regain our private property rights. There is so much bureaucracy just at the local and state level that limit what we can do with our property. We don't need the Feds, let alone the UN or the Hague, telling us we can't build, restructure, fence, etc. the land we own. Without land ownership and private property we become a communist nightmare of a nation. That is the goal of the NWO/UN/globalists. This is just one front, the environmental front, that they are attacking our property rights on.

Baldwin County commissioners warn of subversive 'Agenda 21' initiative

In a political commentary that sometimes seemed like a tent-revival exhortation, Baldwin County Commissioner Frank Burt held forth for more than 20 minutes Tuesday on the evils of a 1992 United Nations initiative known as Agenda 21 that he characterized as a threat to U.S. sovereignty.

"We are all for protecting the environment," Burt said, "but this is something that has seeped in amongst us. I don’t think we need the United Nations to tell us what to do."

He said, "We’ve got the EPA taking over the country. If the Senate approves (Agenda 21), they can come into New York City or wherever a raindrop falls and tell us what to do."
Under Agenda 21, he said, the U.S. Supreme Court will give way to the international court located in The Hague.
Commission Chairman Bob James offered support for Burt’s assessment.

"This country used to be easy enough for a caveman to understand," James said, a reference to a Press-Register editorial cartoon depicting James and Burt as cavemen for refusing to grant a school board request for a tax referendum. "People need to wake up and take this country back."

Both commissioners predicted a groundswell of voters in November’s national elections that would restore the country.

Their comments came in response to a resolution passed unanimously by the commission Tuesday opposing regulations along Fish and Magnolia Rivers that limit the size of boathouses and piers to 100 square feet. Those areas fall within the jurisdiction of the Weeks Bay Reserve — which operates under a federally approved management plan — and are subject to rules passed decades ago to preserve the sensitive area.

Permits for structures along the shores must snake through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Alabama Department of Environmental Management, the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and the Weeks Bay Reserve.

Wow, that's progress. We can only hope this sets a national precedent.

Agenda 21 can also be defeated at the local level as well. The first step to take is to check as to whether or not your city or town belongs to ICLEI, a conglomerate of local municipalities which pledge to carry out and adhere to Agenda 21.

"Agenda 21,adopted at the 1983 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED),held in Reo de Janeiro, Brazil, is "a comprehensive plan of action to be taken globally, nationally and locally by organizations of the United Nations System, governments, and major groups in every area in which human impacts on the environment."

Dick Morris in his recent book "Screwed" wrote that "Agenda 21 is an end run around our democratic process. It was inspired by environmentalist, written by technocrats, adopted by diplomats, and is being used by bureaucrats to justify their presumption of private property rights and democratic control over our local governmental institutions."

The MSM has tried to make this law out as being unwarranted, if not rather silly, since Agenda 21 and its provisions are supposedly voluntary. But with a multitude of Left-Wing nuts in this country running our state and local governments and who I'm sure look upon Agenda 21 as a good model to follow, I think that it's only prudent that our more level headed political leaders, such as those here in Alabama who sponsored and voted for this bill, cut off any attempt by them to over ride the will of the people more than they have already.

As one has noted, our large Black population and the subsequent problems associated with this fact might seem a priority, but we shouldn't neglect the insidious nature of the 'New World Order' and it's obvious attempts to take away even more of our national sovereignty.

I believe it was a good move on the part of Alabama, and hopefully other states will follow its example.

The link above is to Maggie Roddin's presentation on Agenda 21. She is the radio host on RBN who had Jamie and Edmund Ruffin on last week. Agenda 21 seems to be one of her main topics. She's obviously on the good guys side on this one.
