Thread: House Passes Bill to End Child Tax Credit Refunds to Illegal Aliens

I think the child credit is a good thing. Now these Republicans are going to screw everybody just because illegals can get it? There's a better way to deal w/ this problem. They've got to go straight to source. Why can't they seem to do anything about the IRS loopholes which benefit illegals? Why can't they close the borders and deport illegals as they should have been doing all along?

Is this the way the Republicans are going to handle this mess? By screwing honest, hardworking people who have mouths to feed? Sorry, but this is complete chicken**** and is as unsettling as anything the Commiecrats have already done...

PR they are not doing away with the credit all together. What is proposed is that to take advantage of this credit the filer has to have a Social Security number OR a Individual Taxpayer Identification number.

They already have to have one or the other to be able to file. The problem seems to be that these illegal aliens are claiming umpteen kids, many of them back in Mexico and then getting thousands of dollars back.

And what's really the icing on the proverbial cake, is that the IRS doesn't seem to give a damn whether theses people are ripping off the American taxpayers or not!

Instead of these Congressmen coming up with a multitude of bills that will never receive Obama's signature, they should at the very least, have some Congressional hearings into why in the hell the IRS is essentially give a free ride to these illegals, while at the same time often harassing the American citizen for doing the very same thing!

I'm sick of the Federal Government turning a blind eye to the problems of this country!

But if a patriotic American misfiles their taxes by a few bucks, the gloves come off and the IRS does everything in their power to ruin their life. In most courts you are still innocent until proven guilty. In tax court with the IRS, you are guilty until proven innocent - the burden of proof is on you!

The EIC is where the big bucks are. I am all for it,for white mothers and children. Illegals are stealing money and bankrupting america. Illegals need to be rounded up and sent south.
