I would not be surprised that an African in his natural habitat could evade a few hundred, perhaps overcivilized, troops, especially as he had the good sense as follows: (from the linked article) "Kony, a Ugandan guerrilla who began his uprising in the 1980s, long ago ordered his followers to stop using radios and cellphones to avoid leaving an electronic trail. Nowadays, officials said, his 200 or so fighters rely on foot messengers and preordained rendezvous points to communicate."
And then there's this: "The Americans said they rarely leave the vicinity of their camp and do not go on patrol, leaving it to their African partners to send trackers into the bush. Instead, they spend most of their days in meetings with African troops and local officials, guiding operations and offering technical advice."
Remember Eric Rudolph was able to hide out in the wilderness for 5 years. Also Lieutenant Hiroo Onoda of the Imperial Japanese Army was able to avoid capture for 30 years! In my opinion all White Nationalists should read Lt. Onoda's book "No Surrender: My Thirty-Year War"
