Default A fog of drugs and war

For Army troops, prescription drugs may add to fog of war - latimes.com

More than 110,000 active-duty Army troops last year took antidepressants, sedatives and other prescription medications. Some see a link to aberrant behavior.
Wiki says we only have 561,984 active Army troops.

A hallmark of self-deceiving cowards is their acceptance of authority as their truth, rather than the truth as their authority.

I believe we also need to factor in a couple of things. Part of it has to do with how accustomed they are to the drugs and if they're getting "heavier" prescriptions over time.

I've seen ads on television for the need for medical personnel for the VA hospitals/facilities around the country. The VA will accept any states' medical license (as in M.D. or maybe other medical personnel) wherever that VA hospital that is. I think that's strange. If someone in Washington state has to sit for licensing for another state, why shouldn't the same occur for the VA? Is it only because it's a government entity and they're in need? I think the VA should be closer looked at with medicines, etc.

Also, some people have been traumatized so heavily with several combat tours or have been grievously wounded.

I wish I could get some analyses on some of these people.
Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones. I am not afraid. - M. Aurelius

Wow. That goes a long way in explaining some of the incidents we've heard about doesn't it?
100,000 + soldiers doped up on anti depressants? No wonder they don't want these people
    to come home!

Remember ALL the school shooters were on anti-depressants or Ritalin (just a few)!
