Although he claims to be a "fervent" Catholic, Henrique Capriles Rodonski, Gov. of the ultra-corrupt state of Miranda (and ex-mayor of Baruta -- another abyss of corruption) is quick to cite halakic law, "Beacuse of my mother and grandmother, for Jews, I'm Jewish." Despite being a converso, he hasn't been spared by pro-Venezuelan nationalists .... although the poor Capriles hasn't been targeted recently, in 2009, "pro-government supporters" strangely "dressed in red" surrounded his Governor's mansion and painted ... you guessed it ..... fyflots on its outer walls. In 2008, "government-alligned media" dared to castigate Capriles as being part of the nefarious "Jewish-Zionist bourgeoisie" elite strangling Venezuela .... and even curiously ID'd him as "genetically fascist." Apparently nothing untoward happened to the ambitious Capriles in 2010, 2011, or so far this year ..... if it had, I'm sure we'd be hearing all about it, and Hilary Clinton would be calling for an emergency OAS meeting.
