I have a feeling that by the U.S. giving China favored trading status, having them holding much of our dept, and our nation becoming so dependent upon their products, that we've seriously compromised our security as a nation.

Our nation needn't think that China will compromise their Communist and Marxist ideology for the sake of money. Our trade with them has essentially allowed them to build their military and space program that will be directly competing with our own in the future.

We need to move toward more national independence, and have our military focus more own protecting our nation from missile attack, as well as having a military force that can easily mobilize in short order, as well as having an ambitious space program that can have the U.S. colonizing the moon and exploring the outer planets for whatever future benefits that we can get from them.
