A true measure of a man's character is his willingness to speak the truth - even at the expense of his reputation.
A hallmark of self-deceiving cowards is their acceptance of authority as their truth, rather than the truth as their authority.
The thing about Ron Paul is that his support base is almost unlimited. That fact no doubt worries certain people, especially the Jew lobby and the Christian Zionists .
For example, while Candidate A will get mostly Republicrat support, and Candidate B will get mostly Demopublican support, Paul will get support from nearly every political stripe/ segment of society: "liberal", "moderate", "conservative", young, old, vegetarian, veteran, and so forth. etc.
So, yeah, mainstream media (the Jewish community)is getting more and more nervous about Ron Paul’s presidential campaign.

I wish Ron Paul the best of luck, but I don't support him, or any other candidate.

Ron Paul needs to be tougher on border issues.
Sometimes, picking the lesser of two evils, is no pick at all.Just sayin
The state and county GOP straw poll wins by Paul are indeed a plus. These wins have garnered much needed positive media headlines, even though they have been largely won by the Paul campaign purchasing convention tickets for supporters. It seems that this is one collectivist effort that Paul's libertarian supporters do not object to.
The California GOP straw poll had a mere 900 people voting. There are 5.3 million registered Republican voters in California. This breaks down to .0001%.
For Paul to gain traction he needs to win the Alaska and Louisiana district caucuses like Pat Buchanan did in 1996. Buchanan went on to finish second in Iowa then went on to win the New Hampshire primary.
As evidenced by Michelle Bachmann's Iowa straw poll victory, winning straw polls has little to no lasting impact. It is encouraging to see that Paul's campaign has begun to realize that collective organization, not individualism, is central to political victory.

Ron Paul Cheated Out of Texas Straw Poll Win? >>> Paul Joseph Watson Infowars.com September 19, 2011
Congressman would have defeated Governor Perry in his own state.
Ron Paul is riding high again after his California Straw Poll victory yesterday, but some Paul supporters are questioning why the Texas Straw Poll was cancelled for “lack of interest,” and whether it was actually killed because the Congressman would have inflicted an embarrassing defeat on Governor Rick Perry in his own state.
Watson is correct that Paul would have beaten Perry, but like the CA straw poll there would have been less than a thousand voters with Paul getting about 350 votes with half that total being college kids who had their convention tickets paid for and shuttled to the event by the campaign.
A couple of days ago, Rick Santorum wins Pennsylvania GOP straw poll, with 36% crushing the rest of the field! Santorum most likely got 200-300 votes in a state that has 3.2 million registered Republicans.
