In many aspects of "public" opinion formation and manipulation, governance, military applications, taxation policies, public school curricula, etc., America has already become a totalitarian tyranny, or 'ZOG' for want of better shorthand descriptive.
But no one can point to a specific date, like the black day the Orwellian "Patriot Act" was enacted, the stygian Waco Day of Incineration, the Day of the Ruby Ridge Murders, the day weaponized anthrax was released by ZOG's operatives a week after the false flag op called '9/11", and really say: "Aha, this is the day we became serfs of a terrible ZOG!" ZOG is an ongoing and ever-pervasive tyranny, which like the astrophysical phenomenon of a black hole, comes to inexhorably suck everything into its power, first by distorting the target and then swallowing it up.
ZOG came ever so gradually, patiently, and like a terrible mutated virus, rather skillfully adapted itself to changing conditions. In retrospect, yes, we can see that American involvement in WWI, the institution of the federal income tax, the spawning of the Federal Reserve syndicate, all nearly a century ago, were big steps on ZOG's path .... but it was always the little steps that smoothed the path ..... well, here are three of them for you right from todays news:
1. The FBI's stasi network continues to grow: http://www.npr.org/2011/08/21/139836...rmants?sc=emaf
2. The NYPD has now admitted that active duty CIA personnel are now formally embedded within it: http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory?id=14379253
3. The CIA has excised, from an intended publication, information which was provided in public testimony: http://www.npr.org/2011/08/21/139836...rmants?sc=emaf
Like the fog Carl Sandburg once wrote about, tyranny comes little by little, on little cats' feet.

Speaking to reporters in New York, commissioner Raymond Kelly acknowledged that the CIA trains NYPD officers on "trade craft issues," meaning espionage techniques, and advises police about events happening overseas. Kelly also said he was unaware of any other U.S. police department with a similar relationship with the CIA.
"They are involved in providing us with information, usually coming from perhaps overseas and providing it to us for, you know, just for our purposes," Kelly said.
CIA spokeswoman Jennifer Youngblood said the agency does not spy inside the United States and also described the relationship with the NYPD as collaborative.
"Our cooperation, in coordination with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, is exactly WHAT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE DESERVE and have come to expect following 9/11," she said.

To a degree, the capitalized phrase is true. We DO deserve slavery because our unwillingness to prevent or stop it.
If you think they are ONLY looking at the "bad guys", just go back to sleep or get another Bud Lite from the fridge.
