    Thank you all so much for these welcoming thoughts to the new little life that has arrived for Sigrid and me. Little Bjorn William Kelso has his mom's good looks and genes. He weighed 7 pounds 15.8 ounces when he was born yesterday morning.

    (Later note: I'll find a photo of Bjorn on the day he was born to accompany my post above. But, meanwhile, here's a photo of the little guy a few months later. I should have used the date function in my cameras on these baby pictures. But I didn't, so I'll have to guess the ages by just what we see.)
