(White) People Protest Casey Anthony Acquittal
A crowd of (mostly white) people showed up to "protest" the Casey Anthony verdict, wherein a terrible white mother was acquitted of killing her two year old daughter.
Does anyone else appreciate the irony here: White people protest against white killers while black people invariably protest in SUPPORT of black killers (O.J. Simpson, Mumia Abu Jamal, Tookie Williams, etc.).
I'm no defender of Casey Anthony, but she had her trial, was acquitted and that's the end of it. This woman should be shunned and ignored and blacklisted, but the integrity of the system is more important than the outcome of any single case. Dysfunctional families kill each other and that's just the way it is.
One thing bothers me: Who are all these white people who have the time to go "protest" like this? Don't they have jobs? What are they thinking of? W

Good question. They should be protesting things that matter that affect them directly, too.
Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. The unemployment rate in Florida is horrible. The government puts it at 10.6%
In reality it is about 20 to 25% among White man.
I have many White friends that are home while their wifes are working.
Most of us are some form of Sub contractor or Consultant. Self employed people
That are not working are still considered employed.
It is good to see White people out in the street angry It is good practice for the
Protest against the government that are soon too come.

This was a HUGE miscarriage of justice. Apparently the simpletons on that jury thought that a criminal case should be like an episode of CSI with everything wrapping up neatly with DNA evidence tying everything together.
The truth is that a lot of cases still depend on circumstantial evidence and common sense.
I heard one of the alternate jurors saying that "there was no motive". What an idiot! A google search shows that Casey was a wild party girl. Imagine what she was doing that didn't get photographed.

Great topic, OP. I didn't follow the case and never will. Why the masses consider these things important shows the brainwashing by the media. The priorities of the people are all wrong.
