Court rules against Arizona immigration law

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) – A U.S. appeals court upheld a preliminary injunction against parts of Arizona's controversial immigration law in a ruling released on Monday.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that a lower court did not abuse its authority by enjoining key sections of the state law that were challenged by the Obama administration.

Arizona's law would require police to determine the immigration status of a person they have detained and suspect is in the country illegally.

Republican Governor Jan Brewer's office had no immediate comment on the ruling.

The coalition’s lawsuit charged the extreme law invited the racial profiling of people of color, violated the First Amendment and interfered with federal law.

The US Constitution works better for Mexicans than Americans.

The constitution is selectively respected or discarded whenever they want.

These judges need to be named and tamed. Removed a.s.a.p. if possible. I like how they try to force their views onto society and then, blame the American people for their mistakes.

And the real kicker is, no one ever voted for them. That makes them unelected dictators.
