If the mainstream press would stop being a pep rally for the party system and actually report the news, they wouldn't be in this mess. Freedom of the press is only possible if the journalists aren't working for the interests of a party.

It's amazing how committed the newspapers are to a liberal agenda.

The White people, who can afford to buy the newspapers are sick and tired of the L.A. Times writing sob stories about the "poor undocumented immigrants". You see newspaper vending machines all over L.A. completely full of unsold newspapers.

Most White people here wanted the illegal aliens deported yesterday.

Matt Drudge became huge because he was willing to research and print stories that the mainstream media ignored.

Websites like this one keep growing because people want the truth not kosher nonsense.

The newspapers have been going downhill and have been losing readership for several years now. Most people are getting their news via the internet, and some are getting it both by the internet and the television. The cost is also a factor. If you're in Los Angeles, I imagine the cost yearly for a subscription might be more substantial than here, where the newspaper is very thin and only more substantial on Sundays. There are a lot of factors involved.
