Federal Court Rules against Obamacare

OneNewsNow reports that “U.S. District Judge Henry Hudson… (ruled) that Congress does not have the authority to force people to purchase health insurance. It marked the first major legal setback for Obama’s healthcare overhaul, and handed Republican foes ammunition for their repeal effort next year.”



As much as the Democrats want to set up a national health care system, Obamacare really doesn’t come close to that, instead Obamacare is a gigantic cash windfall for the health insurance providers. Perhaps someone should have told Obama that if all the poor people in the US could afford the premiums that major health care providers charge, that they would be buying health insurance already.

Considering that the Supreme Court has a conservative majority, it seems fairly certain that this ruling by a conservative Federal judge will be upheld.

We’re probably lucky that Obamacare is being shot down in the courts because every other liberal-mandated program from Affirmative Action to Section 8 housing has been left untouched by the Republicans. It seems as though when the greedy pigs in the mainstream Republican Party gained power in 1994, all they did was rush to the trough to lap up all the bribes and gratuities that the Democrats had monopolized for so long. All White people got were some temporary tax cuts.

Today, there’s a significant Tea Party element, which has played a key role in the Republicans taking power away from the Democrats. Maybe the Republicans will actually have a backbone this time and overturn Obamacare in 2013 after Obama finishes his one term presidency.
