Mission

The Mission of Americana Pictures is to develop, produce and market quality motion pictures, which promote fresh talent and the best of traditional European-American ideals.

Philosophy

As an alternative to Hollywood, we seek to restore the American Dream and promote those qualities that made our country great. Unlike the proponents of pop culture, we will not propagandize with falsehoods, nor desensitize the public with a relentless stream of venal and decadent entertainment. We look to entertain in positive ways with honor and integrity, and create classic stories and characters that can be beacons of light - to entertain, inform and help recapture the vision and spirit of our founding fathers – the spirit of Americana.

Founder
Merlin Miller was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, and graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY. He served several years in the U.S. Army where he commanded two units and then worked as an Industrial Engineering Manager for Michelin Tire Company. In 1983, he was accepted into the University of Southern California’s “Peter Stark Motion Picture Producing Program,” graduating in 1985 with an MFA degree in Cinema/Television. Merlin has since been an independent screenwriter, motion picture producer/director, and media instructor.

Merlin’s award winning films include; “A Place to Grow” starring Gary Morris, Tracy Kristofferson, John Beck and Wilford Brimley, and “Jericho” starring Mark Valley, Leon Coffee, Lisa Stewart, R. Lee Ermey and Buck Taylor. His vision is to build a viable and far-reaching alternative to Hollywood… one that can help shape a more positive destiny for the marginalized, yet traditionally valued American majority

FREEDOMPALOOZA Sat Jun 30th - Mon July 2nd

I talked with our A3P presidential candidate Merlin Miller this morning as he was driving from Tennessee to eastern Pennsylvania where he will be featured as a speaker at 12pm Sunday July 1st at a great big patriot rally named Freedom Palooza. You want to be there.

I will post more details about the event later in this thread. Or, if you've got the time, you could beat me to it with those details and links. You want to be sure to be there if you are anywhere within driving distance of eastern Pennsylvania. Camping is encouraged at this great event. I've heard talk that possibly 1,000 patriots will be there. Be that as it may, the event is sure to be well attended. Former Ohio Congressman Jim Traficant will speak from the same stage as Merlin. Merlin will have new copies of his book "Our Vision for America" there to sign for you.

I just got off the phone with Merlin Miller. He's just now arriving at FreedomPalooza in Bucks County, PA. If you live anywhere in the 200 mile radius of Bucks County, you ought to load the kids into the station wagon and head to the event. Merlin has a team of A3P folks there at the event. Merlin speaks on Sunday at noon. He was on the Rick Adams radio show last night. He'll be doing more media channels from FreedomPalooza. Next weekend he'll be at the Council of Conservative Citizens national convention in Nashville, TN.

I was able to connect Merlin into the American Third Position board of directors conference call that concluded half-an-hour ago. Merlin will have a great opportunity to connect with former Ohio Congressman Jim Traficant and also with Gun Owners of America head Larry Pratt, both of whom will be sharing the podium with Merlin at FreedomPalooza.

The A3P team with Merlin at FreedomPalooza has been gathering signatures to put Merlin and A3P on the New Jersey ballot in November. These great folks already have slightly more than the number of signatures needed to gain ballot access in New Jersey. There are sure to be lots of New Jersey folks at FreedomPalooza (which is just across the Delaware River from New Jersey) so more signatures will be coming out of FreedomPalooza. We're already on the ballot in Colorado.

We should be able to get on the ballot in Louisiana. We need a little help in Louisiana. We need a few folks to act as Electors for us. That's easy. You don't have to do anything. If you're a registered voter in Louisiana, you can be an Elector. The Electors are just a list of names of registered voters that Louisiana requires of any political party.
