    Default Pro-Israel lobbies slam Republican Senator's call to halt Israel aid

    Pro-Israel Jewish lobby J Street issued a statement in response to Paul's comments saying it was “alarmed” by his suggestion.
    National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC) President and CEO David Harris also condemned his statement saying that “Paul's suggestion is negligent, shortsighted, and just plain wrong,” adding that “foreign aid in general, and aid to Israel in particular, is crucial to Israel's security and its pursuit of peace. Senator Paul's statement is yet another illustration of how the Republican Party continues to grow increasingly out of touch with the values of the vast majority of the American Jewish community."
    Meanwhile, Republican Jewish Coalition Executive Director Matthew Brooks issued a statement saying "we share Senator Paul's commitment to restraining the growth of federal spending, but we reject his misguided proposal to end U.S. assistance to our ally, Israel."

    Why should the Washington Government borrow money, give it away to Israel, and demand that my great-great-grandchildren pay it back?

    Israel has a credit rating doesn't it? Let them borrow their own funds!

    So he decides to speak out against Israel now? Kinda strange considering his last remarks.

    The American Spectator : AmSpecBlog : Rand Paul and Israel

    As much as I hate to admit, this man is my Senator, and its my right to expose double talking and playing both sides. I honestly don't believe a single word this man says. It seems hes playing both sides, and in the end I already know which of the 2 sides is going to get screwed. This is one of the reasons why they call it ZOG, you end up voting for Zionist people and policies, whether you like it or not.

    Not so fast people, don't jump to conclusions on this. He is my senator, and I don't trust him. We are gonna have to do way better than this before I even waste my time of ever going to another polling station again.

    Yes How Dare he suggest that the tribe go it on their own dime, what an outrage. There is always enough borrowed money for Israel to get more....and to suggest otherwise is just (insert babbling guilt trip here.)
    {Takes AIPAC check to the bank like good political hooker.......}

    Now back in reality, the USA is broke and the welfare for nations known as Foreign Aid has to end, AIPAC or NO AIPAC, and media influence or no media influence.

    Israel is our albatross and it is time to be done paying for them to play at colonization in Palestine.
